Fraid is the recording project of a British-raised singer-songwriter with Middle Eastern roots. After receiving his first guitar early in life, his ear was shaped by everything at once - British pop, indie records, Middle Eastern ballads, and later, years spent as a producer in the dance scene of the North of England.
Music, to him, has always been a tool of resilience. He saw it in his parents, and especially his father, who - through no shortage of hard years - never stopped singing, dancing and making the house feel like a home. Thus, stemmed the belief that music is how you keep moving forward, no matter how big your ambitions, or what stands in the way.
